Job description:This is the description from the structural survey. "There is penetrating dampness to front bedroom front wall and chimney breast to bedroom 2. This has been caused by defective pointing and previously defective chimney stack flashings. It is important that the source of the problem is identified and repairs carried out to prevent additional wetting of the structure. See External walls section. Repairs normally include replacing damp affected plaster, (with ‘limelite’ renovating plaster) which will continue to attract dampness from the atmosphere. New plaster will require redecoration.
