Job description:Investigation and renovation of underfloor area in kitchen/breakfast room. Back part of floor is solid concrete, which has rising damp (original bitumen damp course disintegrated). Remainder of room has suspended timber floor, which is sagging where it meets the solid concrete floor. Possible rotten joists due to damp transitted from the concrete floor, or problem with underfloor retaining wall at join between concrete and suspended floor? House is Victorian semi built in 1883.
