Job description:Renovating 1970]s house. Currently have L shaped lounge, with a 6ft x 2ft double walled chimney in middle of room. Would like to remove the chimney (which currently supports 6ft lintel directly above it under floor boards). Would like to add another longer supportive lintel and remove the chimney. The Kitchen has an extension with a 7ft lintel supporting an external wall. I would like to remove more of the external wall, and add a longer 14ft lintel.
