Job description:New 4-bed, 2-storey detatched house under construction near Alton in Hampshire. First fix carpentry requires completion in January. Remaining first-fix tasks: 1. Fit external doors / French doors. All doors are pre-glazed. Some planning/adjustment required to fit into masonry openings. Schedule: - 1680 x 2100mm front door and sidelights - 915 x 2100mm utility door - 2 of 2400 x 2100mm French Door Sets - 1 of 2400 x 1200mm French Door Sets 2. Fit internal Door Linings. All linings are pre-cut. Some packing out required to fit into some masonry openings. Schedule of internal doors: - 3 of 838 x 1981 - 1 of 1208 x 1981 - 5 of 762 x 1981 3. Fit window boards (11). All window boards are already cut to size. 5 require edges rounding. 4. Fit Loft Hatch Lining. 5. Fit Various noggins: - Noggins to joists to support timber stud walls above (approx. 15 lengths of 600mm) - Noggins to roof trusses to allow for 15mm plaster board @ 600mm centres to follow (approx. 30 lengths of 600mm) - Noggins to stud walls to support towel radiators (3) 6. Boxing-in of 1 waste down-pipe. 2nd fit & finishing to follow in February to May which will include: - Stairs + stud walls for under-stairs cloakroom - Skirting & Architrave - All internal doors & cupboard doors - Rigid units & doors to kitchen & utility - Boxing-in pipe-runs in bathrooms (3) For present please quote for first-fix element only.
