Build fitted cupboard and shelving into alcoves using mixture of new and reclaimed timber in Edgbaston
Needed: Carpenter / Joiner in Edgbaston, B15
Job submitted:Apr 24, 2009
Job description:In both alcoves - build 5 shelves (5 in each alcove, so 10 in total) using reclaimed wood (something like a victorian floorboard). length approx 130cm, depth approx 25cm. Ideally i'd like the shelf supports to be hidden so timber would need to be relatively thick. The finish of these shelves should be in the natural old state of the wood. In the right hand alcove (below shelving): build a cupboard from new timber / MDF. finish will be painted. the cupboard will have 2 doors (approx measurments 113cm x 64cm each) and you will need to copy the mouldings of panelling already in the room. within the cupboard will be 2 more shelves. In the left hand alcove (below reclaimed wood shelving): 2 additional shelves and a vertical dividing piece of wood. finish will be painted.
Budget:I'm not sure
