Job description:I am in the process of selling my home and having gone through home report process it appears I have fallen foul of building standards. I installed some stairs into my loft approximately 3 years ago. It appears there should have been an 'insulated door' installed at the bottom of the stairs. I'm looking to get a door put up with the appropriate stud work etc., get all clear from building standards and unless new owners want it left... take it down again. There is a timber merchant at the bottom of my street and a homebase - so materials are easily sourced. All being well, i need job completed next week.
