Restoration of oak bed in Eaton

Job description:I have an oak headboard and tail board (made by my great grandfather) that I want made into a functional bed (3/4 size) probably using wood slats and frame. Doesnt have to be made from oak - could be pine if cheaper as it won't be visible. I'd also like to discuss the option of attaching a canopy to the bed.
