Repairing pine floorboards from 1905 in Town Close

Job description:We have two floorboards on the ground floor that need to be repaired. There are large holes (several centimetres wide and long) at the edges of these boards with clear views to the void below. If possible, I would like to keep the existing boards and have them patched. They do not appear rotten. Both are within the main sitting room of the house and the remainder of the floor seems ok.
