Job description:I wish to replace my out dated and mahogany stained/painted 1970 open tread stairway with a more traditional closed teread version. The treads will be carpeted and the bulustrade posts and spindles left as wood. A look similar to the peter Richard Burbidge Hemlock style. I would like a bull nosed lower step. I currently am waiting fr total redocoration, new wooden floor and carpet etc following an extensive escape of water in the hall stiar area so ideal time to tackle this job.
