We have a blockage in the waste pipe from the bathroom in Harlesden

Job description:for about 6 months the water has not been draining straight away in the bath, sink and toilet as it sits for about 5 mins then does drain away fully. This problem coincides with a new wall being built in the front garden which would be over the waste pipe from the house, so I suspect a possible block from debris?
