Toilet backing up when flushed, water coming back up bathroom sink, dishwasher not emptying properly in Kilburn

Job description:The downstairs toilet is backing up when it flushes and smelly brown water is bubbling back up the basin when the toilet flushes. The upstairs toilet seems to be flushing okay but there is definitely a bad smell coming up through the sink upstairs that I think may be linked to the blocked drain downstairs. The dishwasher is also not draining properly. We have washed out the filter at least twice since then and also put a cleaning agent through it but it has now got to the point where it is effectively unusable as the dirty water is not draining and is going back over the dishes and then pooling in the bottom of the washer.
