Job description:A blockage down the common drain at the rear of a row of cottages during the freezing weather caused the cast iron stack to fill with water, freeze, and crack and also damage the pipe just below ground. United Utilities have clear the blockage but will not repair the damage. The source of the blockage was found to be the next door neighbour.
