Job description:There is damp in front of our basement flat, we think because rainwater isn't draining properly. There are pebbles covering the area, which need to be lifted to check what is blocking the drain (we assume something must be). There is a drainpipe which carries water down the outside of the building and isn't connected to anything, simply deposits onto the pebbles. Once the drain under the pebbles is sorted, the drainpipe needs to be connected and a new surface laid - we were thinking sandstone tiling.
