Job description:We bought a property in Islington borough (17 waterloo terrace, N1 1TQ). The property is a lower maisonette that we bought as leaseholders in a building that only presents 2 flats (a lower and an upper maisonette). No deep survey has been carried. A few days after completion, we noticed a water flood in the kitchen located the basement leading to the garden. The visits of 2 plumbers rejected that the water floor is due to pipes or plumbing issues. A first building surveyor has been made a report resulting to rising damp and bad weather conditions. Our request is regarding 2 things: 1) make a report to explain the reason of the water flood and the rising damp 2) make a quote on the work that needs to be done to fix it Thanks for your reply.
