French drain constructing in Belmont

Job description:The bottom line of bricks at the front of my house are damp and green with mould. I've had advice that I need a french drain constructing to take the water away from the house. I would like someone who specialises in drainage/damp to check this advice is correct and construct the drain for me. It is a small terraced house constructed c1900. The small front garden does slope slightly towards the house which may be adding to the problem.
