Job description:I am getting a large flooded area in the front of my house when there is excessive rainfall or melted snow. It is no coincidence maybe that building work up the hill has taken place and our water problem is definately worse since work was completed. I have a down pipe about 5 metres away approx. that I assume goes into a soakaway. I am thinking maybe to place a drainage point where this flood is and tap into the existing soakway to help drainage?
