Job description:I have a broken field drain on my property. Scottish Water and the Council are clear that it is my responsibility. It is leaking at a significant rate, and I need it fixed very quickly as it is damaging my neighbours' properties. I have been told that the repair would involve establishing the pipe's route, digging down to it further up my garden, digging a trench and re-routeing the pipe into my existing drainage system, and possibly installing a silt trap.
