Tank pump broken - spindle from motor to next section is disconnected in Oughtershaw

Job description:The metal arm from the motor unit goes in to another housing before connecting to the arm in to the tank. It is disconnected and rubber flange shredded but not clear if the arm is sheered off or simply loose because the rubber attachment is damaged. Cant use it but is on holiday rental property so urgent repair needed. Not sure how long it had been running like this (break must have activated the tilt switch) not sure if motor damaged - smelt hot/burning. Installed approx 8 years ago, not sure.
