Job description:The rainwater drain at the front of the house is blocked with soil. Possibly leaf mold or roots have broken the pipe and let in soil. The downpipe from the gutter (serving two houses) is now draining into the front garden. Probably the safest thing to do is to dig out the existing pipe and replace it. Distance from front wall to garden wall is approx 5m. When this job is complete the front garden will be having a make-over, so 'making good' is not an issue.
