Persistent unidentified smell near but not exactly over drains. in Balham

Job description:We have a smell near 2 drains, but doesn't seem to be exactly at the drain, really unsure as to whether it is drains, but guessing it must be. Kitchen sink also slow to drain, pipes underneath have been checked and some drain clearer put down which made no difference.
