Blocked External Drain in Clewer South

Job description:We have an external drain which is currently blocked, it is fed by our upstairs bathroom (sink & bath) and also the kitchen (sink, washing machine and dishwasher). Some water seeps through, but generally when a large volume goes down the drain backs up and spills over our patio out the back. I've tried using household sink unblocker and some more powerful stuff for the blockage but neither have worked. It feels like there is generally a lot of gunk under the grate in the drain, but i cant get the cover up to remove anything It's about 1m from the drain to the sewer, i've had the cover up at the back and the sewer is fine, no blockage. I can see where the drain runs into the sewer, so im guessing it just needs some rods going up there to remove the blockage? If anyone is interested please let me know Cheers Steve
