Job description:Hiya, just in the process of buying my first home, paid for the full structural home buyers report which states the following: The foul water and surface water appears to be taken in combination to a main sewer. The above ground drainage pipes are a mixture plastic and iron. Both of the inspection chambers are blocked. This may suggest that the below ground drainage pipework is defective or broken and a further inspection is recommended by a suitable qualified person prior to exchange of contracts. the drains will need to be flushed clear to facilitate an inspection. The iron drainage pipes are rusting. These defects are not considered to be serious or urgent and can be repaired soon after taking ownership. If repairs are not carried out within a reasonable time the defect could become worse. Just wondering how much this would cost prior to singing the contact to buy the house and also to see if the seller is to have some contribution to the work requires
