Single light switch to be re-wired and checked in Winton East

Job description:I have a double light switch on my landing that controls the light to my loft, upstairs landing and has a link going to the front door so that the upstairs light can be turned on in two locations. I have disconected the light as it is to be re-plastered but have either wired it incorectly or is shorting out against something... The light goes back to a MK distribution board and i believe the job to be straight forward - if you know what you are doing and have a tester! £25 max!
