Change transformers and install electric hob in Apperley Bridge

Job description:Lights in Kitchen and Bedrooms - bulbs have gone, fitted new bulbs, and still not working. Have been informed by concierge that this is likely to be blown transformers - and it is a common problem within my apartment building due to use of cheap transformers when developing the new build. Also when using the hob, it blows the power to the whole apartment. Unsure if hob is repairable, so expect a new electirc hob will be best option. Currently have basic solid plate electric hob, and would like to install ceramic electric hob.
