Job description:We have a house which is only five years old. Ever since we had our light fittings fitted one in particular has exploded every so often. We have had several electriciians round but none have found a problem and just suggest changing to a different supplier for bulbs, not to tighten them etc. Nothing has worked and the problem is getting worse. Once again a bulb has exploded this afternoon and this time a shower of sparks landed on the rug below. This always seems to happen when we switch the light on. We need an electrician we can trust to get to the bottom of the problem as I am nervous to even switch the lights on.
