Reconnecting/repairing bedroom wall lights & fixing a whirring lightswitch in Stamford

Job description:We have 2 wall lights in a bedroom that will not switch on from the main light switch (or at all). The light fittings are new but the connection has never worked since we moved in 1.5 years ago. Either the switch is broken or the connection to the lights is. We also have another light switch in a second bedroom that whirrs when the light is on, we would like this to stop!
