Correct short in mains when heating programmer switches on. in Langley

Job description:I have oil fired central heating and simple potterton programmer. No problems until yesterday when the RCD tripped as soon as programmer came on. Dedicated 3A fuse also blew. Tried reset & change fuse - same problem recurs whether CH or HW selected.
