Job description:I suspect that my shower consumer unit is not functioning properly as it cuts out when my shower is used on full power. The shower is new and the cable supplying the power to the shower is relatively new (20 years). No work has been done on the cable and it worked fine for years with a higher power shower than we currently have. The old shower was replaced as the consumer unit was tripping when we used it and the shower was getting old.
