Job description:Electrical 1st Fix Disconnect existing consumer unit and Supply and install MK sentry or similar approved 12 way dual RCD comsumer unit. Lighting Wiring From existing consumer unit, install new lighting circuit to serve the new building extension. Lighting as follows - WC/Shower - Standard Fixed Ceiling Rose Boiler Room - Standard Fixed Ceiling Rose Ceiling Store - Standard Fixed Ceiling Rose (below 1st floor Bathroom) Kitchen - 15 no. LED down lights & 5No. Under wall unit lights External - 36w Energy Saving PIR floodlight Wiring shall be carried out in 1.5mm2 pvc/pvc cables clipped to roof trusses within floor / roof void. Drops to light switches shall be flush within the building fabric in oval pvcu conduits. Power Wiring From existing consumer unit, install new power circuit to serve the new building extension. Wiring shall be carried out in 2.5mm² pvc/pvc cables clipped to roof trusses within floor / roof void. Drops to sockets/spurs shall be flush within the building fabric in oval pvcu conduits. Power as follows - 10 no. Double Sockets 3 no. Spurs - 2no. Extract fans, 1no cooker hood From existing consumer unit, install new circuit to serve new boiler. Wiring shall be carried out in 2.5mm² pvc/pvc cables clipped to roof trusses within floor / roof void. Drops to sockets/spurs shall be flush within the building fabric in oval pvcu conduits. From existing consumer unit, install new circuit to serve new oven. Wiring shall be carried out in 2.5mm² pvc/pvc cables clipped to roof trusses within floor / roof void. Drops to sockets/spurs shall be flush within the building fabric in oval pvcu conduits. From existing consumer unit, install new circuit to serve underfloor heating. Wiring shall be carried out in 2.5mm² pvc/pvc cables clipped to roof trusses within floor / roof void. Drops to sockets/spurs shall be flush within the building fabric in oval pvcu conduits. Electrical 2nd Fix The Contractor shall include for the installation of light switches. Switches shall be 10A grid type and from the MK logic range or similar approved. 4no. Single Gang & 1 No. 4 Gang The Contractor shall supply and install MK logic range or similar approved 10no. 2 gang switched socket outlets served by 1 No ring main. The Contractor shall supply and install MK logic range or similar approved 6 No. switched fused spurs served by the new ring main. The contractor shall supply and install Airflow Icon 30 wall mounted extract fan to WC/Shower room. The contractor shall supply and install Airflow Icon 60 wall mounted extract fan to Kitchen. Electrical Bonding and Testing The Electrical Contractor shall include for all supplementary and equipotential bonding with the proposed extension/alteration areas. Upon completion the installation shall be tested as per the current Edition of the IEE Regulations and issue a test certificate upon completion.
