LED bulbs in stairwell of 4 storey block keep blowing in Ocean Village

Job description:Our 4 storey block new built 20 year ago has lighting in the stairwell and we recently replaced traditional bulbs in all the 20 light fittings with LEDs to save power consumption. The lights are controlled by spring loaded switches located in various places which turn the lights on for approx 10 minutes after which they switch off. Around half of the LED bulbs have "blown". We need to find out what the problem is as the bulbs are not cheap!
