Electric shower keeps going hot and cold in Wigginton

Job description:My electric shower has started to go cold for about 30 secsonds, then normal temperature for 20-30 seconds, then cold again for 20-30 seconds and keeps repeating this pattern. The water pressure appears to be fine so I thought it may be a thermostat or heating element issue (but I guess that's for you to determine!). In the past few days, it has been fluctuating from the start for about 3-4 times and then stays at a normal temperature so now I'm really confused!
