Laying parquet floor in sitting room to match hallway and dining room in Highgate

Job description:Front living room has carpet over wooden floorboards in late 20s house. The rest of the downstairs has parquet floor. I would like to lay parquet in the sitting room to match the rest of the downstairs, so the same floor runs throughout. There are a few areas of the parquet we already have which need repariing, and I am thinking that it may all need to be sanded back and re varnished/polished, but that depends on cost.
