Job description:I am in the process of buying a flat. It’s currently carpeted, but prior to moving in I would like to strip the carpet up and expose the floor boards. I have not seen the quality of the boards as the vendor currently resides in the property. However, I hope that your experience on similar projects can enable you to issue a preliminary quotation based on sanding down, potentially levelling out the floor and making minor corrections to the following floor spaces: Lounge 4.68 x 3.56 (15'4 x 11'8 ) Dining Room 4.27 x 3.56 (14'0 x 11'8 ) Master Bedroom 3.57 x 2.65 (11'9 x 8'8 ) Bedroom Two 3.12 x 2.65 (10'3 x 8'8 ) If there are any incidentals (for example, replacement floor boards; wood stains, protective layers) you would like to itemise based on the above spaces I would appreciate it. In terms of the floor finishing, I would like to achieve a dark wood stain. I anticipate moving in to the property early Feb and would be looking for a fairly rapid turnaround on the project in order to move my possessions in soon after. Kind regards, Maxeen
