2 main bedrooms need flooring in Stockwell

Job description:l have two main rooms that need flooring. There is a wooden floor here already so l would like some advice as to what the best option is i.e. to keep this floor but underlay it or to underlay and then put new boards down. The bedroom is approx 3.66x3.40 and the lounge is 4.57x4.09. l also have the hall and a small part b/w the kitchen and bathroom
