Cheap dance floor, MDF panels on pine frame in Wavertree

Job description:space for floor is 36 foot by 16 foot and is concrete. I want a MDF floor suitable for flamenco dancing on. Pine batons are laid and the MDF panels are attached, some people put some polysterene strips under (but I'm not sure of purpose, absorbing moisture? or contributing to a 'sprung effect?) Quite happy to leave that bit out. the floor will be functional and it doesn't matter what it looks like just as long as it is safe to dance on. Would just like to do this as cheap as possible. The current concrete floor has a slight slope, very minimal and we don't really care if the floor slopes once installed.
