Job description:When re-grouting and sealing my free standing shower I found that water had leaked under the laminate flooring causing damp and rotting to the floor boards. The area I found damaged seems to be no more than about 2 foot by 2 foot but I do not have the tools to take up any more of the floor. I have spoken to Esure my insurers and they have instructed me to find a tradesman to inspect and report on the possible work that would need to be carried out. This is an insurance claim and so far I have been informed that the laminate floor will have to be replaced and also 4 or so floor boards as they have rotted. The job needs to be seen to determined the cost involved
