Job description:Floorboards with gaps between them, need either lifting and relaying with an extra board added, or filling (with slivers/fillets, not PVA/sawdust). Resanding would also be involved. I will do the staining/varnishing. House is approx. 100 years old and these are original wooden floorboards. 2 upstairs rooms involved, measuring 12'8 x 10'5 each. Will have possession of property from around 15 June and would like this work done before I move in if possible (though can wait a bit if it makes a difference to price/availability of good craftsman). I realise that I may have to increase my budget depending on the estimates I receive and the type of work offered. Thanks in advance for all taking the time to respond.
