Job description:I have a 'clean' room, floorboards bare, and a new carpet (with backing on) ready to git. The room is empty and just painted, so easy access etc. The carpet is 4m by 5m and needs fitting. I've been advised that although underlay would be better, this carpet doesn't need underlay and as its just a childs bedroom I dont plan on using underlay. The bedroom is quite square with just a small inset for the fire place ie. the chimney breast and the window - so not a complicated fitting. There is one door to the room, with a door / carpet strip already present from the old carpet. I just want a good price for fitting the carpet. The area is Whitley Bay, on the coast near to Newcastle upon Tyne.
