Job description:We are seeking to replace the lead mains water feed to our house. A plumber has agreed to do the pipework but we need another tradesman to dig-up the driveway, which is block-paved. There is already a water mains connection-point near the front-door and we need to dig from there up to the house (about 3m long 1 deep) and push the pipe under the foundations, which are almost non-existent in the c1900 property, into the front room at ground level. After the plumber has connected-up, we will need to fill the trench (needs a stiff mix) and re-instate the blockwork over sharp sand.
