Job description:We are looking for a tradesman to supply and fit wooden decking as a surround to a recently installed octagonal 4m wooden above ground swimming pool. The decking needs to be green pressure treated natural timber. The attached picture illustrates the exact specifications of the job required. The decking joists need to sit on an existing 10cm concrete screed that is both smooth and level. This already sits on top of an existing 30cm concrete base. 2/3rd's of the deck will be at ground level and the other 1/3rd will need to be raised to a height of 1m. There will need to be a small step to bridge these two areas. The raised area will also need to have access at the side for the swimming pool pump and will require a lattice effect on the side for ventilation. The far side area of the raised platform will not require enclosing. The site has excellent access through double gates and there is adequate power supplies for any equipment. We are looking for approximate written quotations only (with start time) at this stage and a site visit to confirm the quotation will be on our request.
