Repair to combi-gas boiler system, recently installed but lots of problems with it. in Colinton Fairmilehead

Job description:We recently had installed a Woscester-Bosch Greenstar 30CDi boiler to replace our old boiler. We got it installed by the husband of a colleague. Since it has been installed it has been very slow to heat up - sometimes taking hours to reach the desired temperature, even if this is only a few degress abovethe temperature of the room when the system comes on. Also, the last radiators in the system take ages to heat up and sometimes are only tepid even though the thermostats are up at the highest setting. Last week the heating stopped working though we still had hot water. We phoned Woscester who, when I explained the codes on the screen said that the boiler was over heating. We turned it off for a while and when we turned back on it ran the syphon (I think) cycle for a while & has been ok since. Woscester said it was not a frozen condensate pipe as the codes for that are different. We did also phone the guy who installed it - he insisted that it must be a frozen condensate pipe and advised us to cut that pipe & he would come out & fix it when the weather is better. We did not cut the pipe and the system had been working ok since. When we came home today the blue light was flashing & the code EA was on the display, which Woscester had said among other things means that the condenste pipe is frozen. When looking on their website to try to find a solution we found that he should have used was a 32mm pipe as it runs externally but he has used 19mm. We do not want to have this person back again as we do not trust him to fix the system satisfactorily so we would like to hear from someone who feels can identify the faults with the system and basically reinstall the system if possible.
