Vokera Combination Boiler Fault in Thornliebank

Job description:Our Vokera Compact 24 Gas Boiler shows at constant red fault light. Happens periodically when we are running hot water. When red light appears no hot water can be generated. Only solution we have found is to turn off and on power into boiler which must re-set the fault and then hot water can be generated again. I need this fault fixed - I think it is a common problem with Vokera boilers from looking on the internet. Some people think the thermistor maybe the problem but I need someone to advise and fix whatever the issue is.
