Job description:I have a 'hole in the wall' drop in gas fire with a remote control ignition (made by Diamond fires who appear to have gone out of business). The receiver on the fire will not respond at all to the remote control (all batteries are okay) so I cannot light the fire. This would seem to be a problem with electronics rather than gas but the fire neds to be disconnected to access the electronic part so I guess it needs someone who specialises in this kind of fire?
