Service living room fire and service / access gas combi-boiler in Weetwood

Job description:We are looking to sell our current property, and the buyer has requested a service of the fireplace and combi-boiler. The combi-boiler is a Halstead, and has given intermittent problems over the years. Occasionally the overheat light will come on, and to continue operation it is necessary to switch the boiler off at the mains and then back on. British Gas serviced this three years ago under their 'guaranteed repair' agreement. This involved three attempts to replace the circuit board - by the last attempt, the boiler now 'works', although after a year's operation the overheat issue now still reoccurs occasionally ( usually when the central heating has been used just before a shower ), and we believe the thermostat dial on the boiler no longer functions. Would like the boiler to be assessed, and a quote / schedule of work proposed to repair / replace. Many thanks, Phil Kennaugh
