Gas boiler loses pressure especially when cold, not so bad if keep heating on all time in Wallyford

Job description:Vokera boiler about 5 years old, had new heat exchanger fitted in about Sept 2010. Now seems to be losing pressure and locking out, if the heating is not on all the time. If heating is kept a wee bit warm seems to hold pressure better and only need to top up about once every 2 days. If heating turned down it loses pressure quicker and locks out.
