Boiler keeps tripping electics out and then a burning smell appears - no heating ! in Royton

Job description:Timing clock not working so have to put heating on from mains fuse switch. When putting on it is now tripping the electrics and we are getting a burning smell. Unable to put heating on in house. Unsure of boiler model, but it is not a combi.
