Job description:Vaillant EcoTec 428 was installed Dec 2008 and needs its first service. I can't set the temp high enough on either the water or CH primaries, so it is working very inefficiently. Cold (mains) feed to kitchen tap has minor leak (awkward access behind bowl) and washer needs replacing at the same time. I want to establish a continuing relationship with one service engineer/plumber whom I can trust, so I do not want to take out the Vaillant-offered service contract.
