Oil fired boiler doesn't light in Hundleby

Job description:Strange noise from boiler last night. Turned water and heating off, checked pressure in primary circuit (quite low so topped up to 1.5 bar) but now boiler will not fire up. Did appear to fire up at one point but no hot water at all even though there was hot exhaust from the boiler and it made noises as though it was working normally.
