Job description:Hot water gets boiling hot whenever the gas central heating is switched on. Tried altering the thermostat which makes no difference, and it even happens when the water heating is supposedly switched off. The system seems to make quite a lot of bubbling noises especially when it starts up in the morning (the radiators don't seem to need bleeding though), and there used to be ticking noise from what looks like a switching solenoid of some sort near the boiler, which has now stopped.
