Utility room refurbishment. in Wilpshire
Needed: Kitchen Specialist in Wilpshire, BB1
Job submitted:Mar 25, 2008
Job description:Remove and replace wall and base units and worktop to 'match' recent new kitchen adjoining utility room/rear porch. Wall units required:- 3 x 600mm and 1 x 500mm. Base units:- 1 x 500mm plus spaces for dryer, washer and fridge all 600mm under black marble effect worktop. Door finish medium/light oak effect shaker to match solid oak in ktchen. Total length of room 2740mm. This includes covering central heating boiler situated by back door end of room. The run is along this one wall. There is already a vent for a dryer, but this is not in use at the moment. It is possible a small section of the ceiling will need repairing following some water damage suffered prior to the roof being retiled. No wall tiling will be required. Water supply for washer already there, but the drainage for this to be reviewed as the current drain extends under the kitchen before exiting to outside grate. Rather a long run, so the possibility of taking it throught wall behind the boiler next to the dryer vent should be discussed. It works fine at the moment, as it was checked and given added support under the floor joists when the kitchen was fitted. Electrical socket may need updating to incorporate number of appliances. Currently just one double socket with adapter as sockets are needed for central heating control, washer, fridge and mini vaccuum charger base plus dryer when installed. Existing parquet flooring to be removed also. Type of floor to replace this, to be decided.
